jog.fm - Running music at your pace App Reviews

Its a fine app, but would be nice to be able to listen to playlists made online and not only to the music in the iPhone library!

I never came across the initial Scan. Waste of money, do NOT buy!

Scan does not work. Useless! Dont buy.

Bought the app yesterday and the music scanning process stops at 10% and freezes!!! Its like throwing 2$ out of the window!

Apparently this app has not been fixed...do not waste your money!!

Not impressed. I thought (because of the name) that it would stream music. No, it plays music from your personal playlist. In my case, it played the same song over and over again. It wouldnt skip over it. This AP is basically a waste of money. Its a wonderful concept, they just didnt develop it to a point where it works properly.

I cant select a beats-per-minute which is what I thought I could do, but have to select a running pace which means that in order to get the right bpm I have to go online and figure out what jog.fm thinks is the right pace for those bpm. Also it is pulling in music that is not even on my phone. I deliberately removed a bunch of music (like my Christmas stuff) before I set up the app, and yet somehow it is still pulling in those songs.

I have been struggling with this app for a year. Good idea. Bad execution. Does not play nice with other essential jogging apps. Often crashes when not on top. Requires a reboot which wipes out all run data from other apps about current run. The only reason I use it now is to create a list of pace songs to put in an iTunes playlist. Useless other than that due to constant crashes.

Doesnt allow to play music from jog.fm, works only with your iPhone playlist :(

My workouts are different each time

If I had wanted to listen to my own music I wouldve just played my iTunes music for free. It literally just takes music from your library and plays it. The only good thing about this app is that it plays music that goes about the same pace as your steps. I wouldnt have bought it if I knew it would be this unsatisfying.

Theres no reason to pay for this app if its not providing music! I want a refund!

I could just make my own playlist if I wanted to listen to my own music....

Even thought the cost of the app was only $3 it still was not worth the money. It just kept picking he same songs over and the way I read the overview is that song other than from my play list would be available, which was not true.

I am someone who needs music to run and I love that this app picks it for me. Its picked some random songs from my phone but they really worked well.

Should have read the recent reviews. Dont waste your money

Worked fine before the upgrade. Now it plays about a second of a song then skips to the next or doesnt play at all. Keeps saying it needs to scan my library even right after it just scanned it. Dont fix things that arent broken. This is terrible.

I talked to the CEO of the company. He said they had some issues on their end. I am changing my rating from one star to three, the app worked after the CEO told me to retry. The company was quick to respond to me and are generally concerned about their customers satisfaction with their product. Library scan will not go past 10%. Listen to all the other reviews. This app does not work. This company will steal two dollars from their customers and laugh themselves to the bank.
